Design - Screen Tempo

The channels dictate the pace of ident depending on what is shown at the time, the broacaster i used for this area is the BBC. The BBC will use a slower ident if the audience they are appealing to are calmer and older than usual. For example, if Downtown Abbey is on then they will show a slow normal ident but if the audience is younger and more excited then they will use a more ubeat ident. For example, if England are playing then they use the football ident which has a upbeat tune and is fastly paced. This is because the nation are excited to watch England especially if it is in a tournament
